Humiliation for Derbyshire in new low
Derbyshire hit a new record low when they were bowled out
for 60 in their Pro40 League game against Kent at Canterbury
today.
It was their lowest ever score in any limited-overs
competition, knocking their 61 all out against Hampshire at
Portsmouth in 1990 out of the record books.
Robbie Joseph took 5-13 for the Spitfires after Derbyshire had
won the toss and chose to bat first but the Phantoms' problems
were largely of their own making.
They were bowled out in 22.4 overs and Kent needed only 9.4
overs to knock off the runs they needed at 63-1.
