JCB lands £450,000 order from plant hire firm
DIGGER manufacturer JCB has received a £450,000 order from one of the region’s longest established plant hire firms.
Hood Plant Hire has placed the order for a fleet of JCB 3CX Contractor backhoe loaders, which are manufactured at JCB’s Rocester headquarters.

Hood, which is based in Stone, Staffordshire, was founded in 1971 by Martin Hood, who started out with one backhoe loader.
Martin’s son Fraser is now the company’s managing director.
