A PAIR of swans who were separated after one of them fled from a lake at JCB's headquarters have been reunited.

One of the black Australian birds, a feature on one of the three lakes at the digger firm's world headquarters at Rocester, went missing more than a week ago.

They were separated when the cob went missing after a pair of white swans arrived on the lake, startled him and forced him to flee down the nearby River Churnet.

But following a public appeal for information, the cob was found last night on the River Dove, near Sudbury and rescued.
