Jazz hands are brought out by Sinfin Community School pupils as they prepare for arts festival
PUPILS at Sinfin Community School have been busy preparing for this year's Derby Arts Festival.
With rehearsals and scripts at the ready, more than 100 students at the school will be taking part in the speech and drama section of the competition.
Last year, pupils from the school, in Farmhouse Road, proved to be word-perfect after scooping three first places for their performances.
The annual festival – now in its 105th year – will take place from April 19 to May 11, when classes in a variety of sections will take place at venues across the city, including the Guildhall Theatre and Derby Cathedral.
