CONSTRUCTION project management firm Armsons has taken on a trainee quantity surveyor.

Joshua Toon joins the firm after completing his A-levels at John Port School, Etwall.

In his new role, Mr Toon will gain a grounding in all aspects of the business and will study part-time at Nottingham Trent University.

Armsons director Ian Cooper said: "I am delighted to welcome Joshua to the team at Armsons.

"We are always looking for exciting new talent and Joshua impressed us very much with his enthusiasm and desire to learn."

Mr Toon said: "I am extremely happy to have been given this opportunity."
