KATY Perry is said to have split with her rocker boyfriend Travis McCoy.

People.com reports that the 24-year-old I Kissed a Girl singer and Travis, front man with rock band Gym Class Heroes, holidayed together in Mexico over the Christmas break but split up shortly afterwards.

"It's a hardship but she's regrouping,'' a source told Celebuzz, which first reported the split.

"They were fighting a lot because they never saw each other and now she is going on tour,'' another source told Usmagazine.com. "She just needed a clear head. It's been non-stop work for her.''
