Kit to help visitors get most out of city
FOLLOWING news that Derby is one of the top 20 areas where tourism is booming, the city council is producing a kit to help businesses celebrate the city's selling points even more.
Experts say visitors to the city boosted its economy by about £342 million last year – an increase of 9% on the figures for 2010.
Now, tourism bosses are creating the Discover Derby toolkit with advice and guidance and a list of great things to see and do in and around the city. It will be sent to businesses to help spread the word to visitors following its launch in February.
