Kitchen on fire in Derby home
A man suffered from the effects of smoke inhalation during a small kitchen fire at his home.
Crews arrived to find "cooking fumes" emerging from the first floor of a block of flats in Vincent Street, Derby.
Firefighters had to gain access via a first floor window as the building's font door was locked and no-one was answering.
An ambulance was called and paramedics treated one person for the effects of breathing in smoke inhalation.
The incident was reported at 12.15am this morning.
