LATEST: No reports of school closures in Derbyshire but traffic slow on many routes
No schools in Derbyshire are known to be closed this this morning due to the weather.
Yesterday a dozen schools in the county decided to close early after snow fell throughout much of the day.
Hundreds of people have already voted in our poll which asks if schools are too quick to close when snow falls. Have your say (right).
Meanwhile, one lane is blocked on the A38 southbound carriageway at Burton due a broken down lorry. The incident is causing delays to motorists heading away from Derby.

One lane is also closed on the A50 westbound carriageway at Chellaston due to an accident that happened at about 8.30am.
Other major Derbyshire routes, including the M1, are slow as motorists take care in the icy conditions.
