LATEST: Cold snap will continue all week
THE county will be hit with more snow tomorrow and Tuesday.
The Met Office has said temperatures this week will rarely reach above freezing.

Tomorrow the forecast is for snow showers throughout the day, although they should not be too heavy in the city.
But in higher, more rural areas snowfall could reach up to 20 centimetres.

The snow will continue in to the early hours of tomorrow Tuesday morning.
The snowfall should stop by Thursday. The end of the week will be cloudy and very cold with temperatures not reaching above 1 degree celcius.
Today the snow and ice has made little difference to travel in the county.
Two train services to Birmingham New Street from Derby were cancelled due to electrical supply problems.
Trent Barton has reported running a normal Sunday service on its buses with one exception.
The 20 will not be serving Beech Avenue in Beeston Rylands but will use Lilac Grove.
Arriva Midlands services in Derby and Burton are running a normal Sunday service.

“If there is more snow and it falls on ice then it can be treacherous - take care driving, walking to and from car and wear grippy soled boots/ shoes for trips by foot.
Fresh snow can make walking on slippy snow easier - for a while.
Are people thinking to check on neighbours who are likely to be finding the weather a problem? Some people may be running short on milk and bread and be unwilling to risk their brand new hip by walking out ...”
