“Ronald Binge - a brilliant 'light-classical' composer - virtually unknown in town !
He deserves better, but, a blue plaque will have to do - for the time being !”

“So when will these blue plaques be going up on the walls?”

“It's good to see that Steve Bloomer and Alice Wheeldon have been recognised and included.

I was under the impression that originally these plaques would only be allocated to people who lived outside the City boundary?

By the way, Steve Bloomer as well as living at 34 Cummings Street. He also lived on Portland Street too and a few other houses around the Pear Tree/Normanton area.”
