LIVE TRAFFIC UPDATES: A6096 Dale Road, in Spondon blocked due to accident
9.30am: Accident on the A514 Swarkestone Road, in Chellaston has now been cleared.
9am: A collision on Sandringham Drive, in Spondon is causing delays for drivers. The A6096 Dale road is blocked and police are now diverting traffic via Stoney Lane.

Motorists should expect delays this morning on the A514 Swarkestone Road, in Chellaston due to an accident at the Bonnie Prince Island.
Rush-hour traffic is now building on Kedleston Road inbound in Derby at the five lamps as well as on Mansfield Road inbound in Derby.

Traffic is low on the A6 Duffield Road, Drby southbound between Broadway and the A601 St Alkmund's Way junction.
8.25am: Traffic is now running smoothly on the A38 southbound at Alfreton between the M1 J28 and Watchorn island. .
Delays were experienced here earlier as a lorry shed wooden pallets which meant recovery work had to be carried out.
8.15am: Traffic is slow moving on the A61 Sir Frank Whittle Road in Derby at the Pentagon Island.
7.55am: Traffic is building on the A38 northbound in Derby between Palm Court Island and Little Eaton Island.
7.50am: There is slow moving traffic on the A52 at Ashbourne Road in Derby between the Prince Charles Avenue junction and Markeaton Island.
Roadworks on the A601 St Alkmund's Way in Derby are causing traffic delays at the A6 King Street junction.
Traffic is slow on the A38 southbound at Alfreton between the M1 J28 and Watchorn island this morning.
This is due to a lorry which has shed wooden pallets. Recovery work is currently being carried out here.
