Lack of pre-paid airmail letters an inconvenience
I'VE just been to the post office to buy some pre-paid airmail letters.
How disappointing to discover they aren't doing them any more. I live near a post office but what about folk, especially the elderly or infirm, who don't live near one.
They now have to be weighed, not like the pre-paid ones. It would mean you'd have to visit your local post office every time you sent a letter abroad.
I'm sure that some people will find this an inconvenience.
With every new aerial installed by AMC aerials I will fit an extra point in your bedroom or kitchen for an extra £10

“It isn't just airmail Cynthia. You can't just pack an envelope to it's maximum, and stick a stamp on. Any slightly heavy, or larger envelopes have to be checked for size and weight,to work out postage, so inconvenience all round really.”

“Welcome to the real world, Cynthia.
Since all the sub-post offices in the town were closed, the good folk of Belper (that's me and approximately 21,600 others) have had to journey to the main post office on Strutt Street if we want anything more complicated than a 1st or 2nd class stamp.”
