Link-up to arrange Japanese journeys
A FIRM which handles travel arrangements for car manufacturer Toyota has linked up with another business travel company.
Toyota Tourist International, in Friary Street, arranges travel for Burnaston plant workers who go to and from Japan.
It has signed an agreement with Broads Business Travel, to allow the Sutton Coldfield firm to offer a specialist travel service for clients visiting Japan for business or pleasure.
The venture has been organised by Andrew Harrison, general manager at Broads, and Toyota Tourist International's vice-president, Maki Kondo. TTI will have a Japanese member of staff working at Broads so clients will be able to book flights, hotels and train tickets, as well as arranging visas and other travel-related documents.
