The Quad
Co-written by and starring Alien screenwriter Dan O'Bannon, this low-budget space comedy was a seminal influence on 21st century sci-fi and has found its place as the missing link between 2001: A Space Odyssey and Red Dwarf.
Sheffield artists Animat have developed a new soundtrack to the film which they will perform live, using a mixture of their own original brand of dub-down-tempo, an eclectic selection of tracks from their DJ archive and remixed versions of themes from the original score.
