Travel update: Burst water main affects Locko Road, Spondon and rush-hour traffic "slow"

RUSH hour traffic is starting to build across the area with several roads resported as "slow" following numerous incidents.

Depays are expected in the Locko Road area of Spondon, near to Longley Lane, following a burst water main which has left 10 homes without water. Severn Trent Water are on site carrying out repairs.

Other hot spots include:A38 Alfreton, northbound between B600 and M1 J28; A61 Main Road northbound in Stretton between the B6014 junction and the A6175 Market Street junction and the A61 Sir Frank Whittle Road northbound in Derby between the A608 Mansfield Road junction and Little Eaton Island.
