Live travel update: A50 smash causes delays
UPDATED 2.15pm: Lorry smash closes A50 lanes, causing long delays.
A crash involving a lorry and van near on the eastbound side of the road took place earlier this morning near the slip road at junction 1, Castle Donington.

Emergency services are at the scene and one lane has reopened, making the road passable, but causing congestion.
Earlier incidents, like a shed load near Ripley and a crash on Sir Frank Whittle Road have been dealt with.
