"I held the door open as the driver got out and all she had on her was a scratch on her head.

"She was just a bit shocked – she was so lucky."

It is believed children sometimes play on the spot where the car crashed but none were there at the time.

The crash, which happened at 11.24am, was on the northbound side of the road heading out of the city just past the new houses at St Benedict Catholic School and Performing Arts College.

The incident also involved a Vauxhall Vectra driven by a 32-year-old man.

The man suffered minor injuries, including whiplash, but police did not know if he was taken to hospital.

Officers from the Derbyshire force are now investigating the crash.

    “Sillynow
My next door neighbours sister talked about having a baby once .
If they had one and it grew up, going to that school,
What if that potential child had been standing in that spot, waiting to be picked up by my next door neighbours sister ,and had its back to the road , so the car would not be seen till it was to late to jump out if the way?
I shudder to think what might have happened”

“"It is believed children sometimes play on the spot where the car crashed but none were there at the time."

Is it also believed that some of the children who are believed to have sometimes played on that spot were possibly orphans, or suffering from incurable diseases?

Is it also believed that little puppy dogs and kittens sometimes also played alongside those possibly orphaned children?

Missed a couple of sensationalist tricks there, joey.”
