M1 and A38 slow but no accidents to report
MAJOR routes in Derbyshire are coping reasonably well during this evening's rush-hour (updated 5.30pm).
There are slight delays on the M1 northbound between junctions 23a and 24a due to the volume of traffic. The average speed is 30mph.
The A38 northbound in Derby, between Palm Court Island and Little Eaton Island, is also slow.
Ongoing roadworks along St Alkmund's Way in Derby are again causing delays, but there are no significant accidents or break-downs to report.
