These MPs are so out of step over gay marriage
THE recent news that 118 Tory MPs are slated to defy the Prime Minister on the question of gay marriage is not too surprising coming from a party which has historically and continually alienated itself from many and potentially friendly minority groups in Great Britain. The fate of Mr Romney springs to mind.
Among the 118 will be fundamental practising Christians quite unable to reinterpret the gospels in the light of changed societal conditions and attitudes; and their opposition is worthy of respect.
However, the vast majority will be a mixture of out-and-out homophobes, closet homophobes and those who have either voted against gay rights in the past, and/or are quite happy to see gay people marginalised and discriminated against.
Gay people and their relatives should bear these MPs in mind at the next general election and their names must be on show in the gay bars, clubs etc, leading up to voting time.

“Sick of having this **** rammed down my throat day in day out. If you want to be 'gay' thats fine, but keep yourself to yourself like the majority do”

“The only bigotry is from those like you dave12548 who would deny a section of society the same rights that you have.
Equality should be an absolute right in a civilised society!”
