WHY do people drive round with no lights on when it is foggy? Do they think they are invincible?

Can you see the difference between a car with lights on or off? Same goes for cyclists – make sure you have bright front and back lights that work and wear bright, reflective clothing.

It could be the difference of avoiding an accident or being in one!

“Agree with you Why_nicknames. Reason two.

Although some really *special* types will have a foot in both one and two!”

“"Why do people drive round with no lights on when it is foggy? "

I maintain there's a significant percentage of drivers who think, if the streets lights aren't lit, they don't need their headlights on. These morons also believe headlights are only for seeing where you're going, not for making yourself seen to other road users.

"Why do so many morons dirve (sic) around with their fog lights on when it is not foggy?"

I put it down to two reasons:
    1. They once switched on their front fogs and are now too thick to remember where this switch is, or
    2. They are complete knobs.

    I prefer the latter reason.”

“.....and what about dark coloured mobility scooters with their riders wearing dark colours. Now we have low consumption LED lights I believe they should have some form of flashing lights fitted.”

“There is, of course, the flipside of that. Why do so many morons dirve around with their fog lights on when it is not foggy?

They look stupid in daylight and borderline dnagerous when it is merely dark.

Far from looking 'cool' they display a total lack of driving knowledge and understanding, as well as no common sense.”
