Man arrested on suspicion of drugs and burglary offences
A 31-year-old has been arrested after he was found in possession of suspected drugs and jewellery police officers believe to have been stolen.
Officers were patrolling Ilkeston on the afternnon on Monday, February 25, when they pulled over a suspicious car in Beauvale Drive, Cotmanhay.
The driver was searched and found to be in possession of suspected cannabis and a large amount of cash.
Police searched the car and found more suspected drugs and jewellery, which officers think could have been stolen during a burglary.
