Man charged after police search flat

A 29-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with drugs possession five months after police raided a city home.

Officers executed a warrant at a flat in Cavendish Street on Friday, July 27, and discovered an undisclosed amount of drugs.

A man has now been charged with possessing heroin, cannabis and crack cocaine. He is due to appear before magistrates in Derby on November 22.

A 29-year-old woman also arrested was released without charge.
