A MAN had to be cut free from the wreckage of a car after an accident last night.

Few details are currently available but police say the incident happened at the junction of Lime Lane and Church Lane, in Morley, at 11.40pm last night.

The man was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

Witnesses to the crash are asked to call police on 101.
