Man dies after falling on bus
AN elderly man has died after falling on a bus.
The pensioner was travelling on the number 29 Arriva bus from Mackworth to the city centre when he fell off his seat.
Paramedics were called but the man, in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination.

“This is a tragedy that is going to have a terrible impact on a family somewhere, My condolences go to the man's family as well as the driver who must also be feeling terrible about what has happened.
We will have to wait for the post-mortem before any judgement can be made by the authorities. I do not think it is a subject we should speculate on here in an Internet forum.”
