Man hit a woman so hard he broke bones in his hand
A 35-YEAR-OLD man punched a woman with such force he broke two bones in his hand.
Eamon Molloy attacked the woman at a house in Derby.
Molloy had argued with the woman before punching her in the neck and she fell forward into a wall, Derby Crown Court was told.
He then punched her again a number of times in the neck before being pulled away by a friend, said prosecutor Alex Wolfson.

He said: "She was left with swelling to the back of her head and right arm and had pain in her neck. He punched with such force that he broke two bones in his hand. He struck her about four or five times."
Molloy, previously of Camden Street, Derby, but now of no fixed address, admitted battery on October 7.
He was given a 30-week jail sentence, suspended for two years, with a three-month curfew between 8pm and 6am. He must pay £60 court costs.
