Man found with serious leg injuries

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was found in the city centre with serious leg injuries.

The 47-year-old was treated by paramedics in the Morledge and taken to Royal Derby Hospital, where he had surgery for two fractures to his right leg.

It is not known if the man was assaulted or was injured as a result of a fall.

He was found at 12.45am on Thursday, November 29. Police have only just released details.

Officers want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, in particular taxi drivers, door staff and anyone on their way home after a night out or from work.
