Man robbed at knifepoint on Derby canal towpath
Derby detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed at knife-point near Alvaston Park.
At around 1.15pm on Monday a 36-year-old man was walking along the canal path when he was approached by two men.
One of the men had a knife in his hand and demanded that the victim hand over his mobile phone.
The victim gave the man his Blackberry phone and they walked away.
The man with the knife is described as white, around 18-years-old, clean shaven, around 5ft 10in tall and of average build. He had a local accent and was wearing a light grey hooded top.
The other offender was white, around 18-years-old, around 5ft 8in tall, of average build and with short, curly brown hair.
