Mason Bennett picks up latest U17 cap
MASON Bennett became the latest Derby County player to get a taste of international action this week.
The teenage striker was named in the starting line-up for England Under-17s' Algarve Tournament opener against Germany in Portugal yesterday and played 70 minutes of the game. Bennett's strike partner, George Green, of Everton, put John Peacock's side ahead at the Municipal Stadium in Lagos but Germany hit back to win 2-1 with goals from Donis Avdijaj and Timo Werner.

England play again tomorrow, taking on hosts Portugal, before rounding off their tournament against Holland on Tuesday.
