ALLENTON United are starting to catch-up with the pacesetters at the top of the Premier Division.

The Derby club have had a spell on top of the table back in 2009 but lost their way a little.

However, a 3-0 victory over Holbrook St Michaels has helped push them back up towards the top, the goals coming from Alan Fletcher, Shaun Roberts and Danny Briscoe.

Allenton also have games in hand on second-placed Wirksworth Town, who were beaten 4-3 at Castle Donington, and leaders Melbourne Dynamo.

Elsewhere, Chellaston were beaten 1-0 by Ashover, while Sandiacre Town went down 2-0 to visitors Newmount.

Daniel Widdowson scored twice as Rowsley 86 won 3-1 at home to Willington. Matt Dennis added the third.

Matlock Town Reserves beat Borrowash Victoria Reserves 3-1, thanks to goals from Lee Harris (2) and Joe Bytheway.

Swanwick Pentrich Road are the new leaders of Division One.

They beat Ripley Town 4-0. Jay Harrison and Rich Jeffries scored two each for Swanwick.

Heanor Colliers remain in contention after beating Derbyshire Amateurs 5-0. Corey Bowler and Adam Nicholls both scored two.

Holbrook St Michaels Reserves were lucky to take all three points from their game against Punjab United.

They led the game twice before United almost nicked a share of the spoils.

Dave Baker, Ash Hargreaves, Dean Corney and Rich Clarke netted the Holbrook goals in the 4-3 victory.

Derby Royals maintained top spot in Division Two after defeating  Belper United Reserves 2-1.
