BELPER United moved further away from the Premier Division relegation zone by beating Ashover.
Goals from Tom Carney and Eddie Bridges gave them a 2-1 victory over their opponents.
At the other end of the table, Melbourne Dynamo move six points clear of their rivals after beating Castle Donington 3-0.
Ryan Gray, Scott and Danny Guild netted the goals for Melbourne.
Allenton United booked a place in the semi-final of the Derbyshire FA Divisional Cup after defeating Mickleover Sports Reserves 2-0.
Danny Palmer scored for Newmount as they drew 1-1 with Cromford, while Sandiacre Town Reserves lost 3-2 at home to Chellaston.
There was a heavy cup defeat for Holbrook St Michaels.
The Saints crashed out of the Challenge Cup by losing 8-0 at Long Eaton United.
In midweek, Wirksworth Town beat Matlock Town Reserves 4-3 to move up into second place.
And Holbrook MW Reserves won their Derbyshire Divisional Cup tie 4-2 against Allestree.
Rowsley 86 were 1-0 winners against Rolls-Royce Leisure.
Michael Bestwick scored twice for Findern as they stormed into a 2-0 lead in their Division One game against high-flying Selston.
But strikes from Sean Gregory, Josh Layton, Ryan Kemp and Garren Haslam saw Findern overturn that deficit and record a 4-2 victory.
Heanor Colliers moved up into second place with a 4 -0 win at Holbrook St Michaels Reserves.
Punjab United lost ground by losing their Divisional Cup game 2-0 to Ashbourne.
Robson Grey scored a brace and Robert Willis netted the other as Derby Rolls-Royce Leisure Reserves were 3-0 winners over Pastures.
Mickleover RBL took a point by drawing 1-1 with Cotes Park.
Rowsley 86 Reserves beat Bargate Rovers Reserves 3-1 to take over the top spot in Division Two.
Rob Gregory scored the goal for Bargate.
Cown Gill and Steve Burrell netted as Woolley Moor United recorded a 2-1 victory over Wirksworth Ivanoe.
Mickleover RBL Reserves beat Hilton Harriers 5-0 with all goals scored in the second half.
Chris Turner scored twice.
Phil Gregory, Dave Pearce, Dave Buckley and Guy Wilding all scored one each as Swanwick Pentrich Road Reserves defeated visitors Castle Donington 6–1.
