Midlands Regional Alliance: Melbourne go clear at top

MELBOURNE Dynamo, one of the few teams to play in the Premier Division at the weekend, moved seven points clear at the top after a 4-1 win over Matlock Town Reserves.
Carl Allsopp, Dave Brough, Lee Scott and Tom Donachie netted the goals for Melbourne.
Chellaston’s Nick Hough scored on his debut as his side beat Holbrook St Michaels 3-0.
Nat Sunil and Robert Meyer scored the other goals.
Belper Town Reserves came back from a goal down to beat Willington 2-1 in the Derbyshire FA Divisional Cup (South).
James Peck scored for Willington.
In the North section, Cromford lost 2-1 to Dove Holes.
Swanwick Pentrich Road moved level on points with Selston at the top of Division One after a 5-0 thrashing of Mickleover RBL.
Richard Jeffries scored a hat-trick, with Jay Harrison and Matt Phillips netting the other Swanwick goals.
Heanor Colliers stay in contention after beating Bargate Rovers 4-0.
Lee Cooper scored a spectacular goal for the winners.
Despite a brace of goals from Sam Norris, Holbrook St Michaels Reserves were beaten 3-2 by Cotes Park.
Pastures also lost 3-2, going down to Ripley Town.
Division Two leaders Derby Royals stay top after beating Swanwick Pentrich Road Reserves 4-0.
Andy Bacon, Daniel Berisford, Adam Clarke and Jake Pritchard notched the goals.
Wirksworth Ivanhoe, meanwhile, lost ground as they could only draw 1-1 with bottom team Bargate Rovers Reserves.
Shaun Kinder scored the Bargate goal.
Rowsley 86 Reserves are back in the mix after beating Melbourne Dynamo Reserves 5-1.
