Miller mixes it with Ennis at UK champs
SIXTEEN-year-old Derby athlete Yasmin Miller ran a personal best 8.51 seconds in the 60m hurdles at the Aviva UK Indoor Championships in Sheffield yesterday – coming fifth in a race won by Britain's multi-event superstar Jessica Ennis.
It was a first race in such company for Miller, stepping up from the junior ranks for valuable experience.
There was to be no glory for Derby athlete Ellie Stevens, as she came 11th in the 3000m in a race won by World Championship 1500m silver medallist Hannah England.
