A MOTORCYCLIST has died in a crash at Alfreton.

The bike was in collision with a Mazda car on the A61 Chesterfield Road at about 7.15pm on Wednesday.

The rider was killed and his pillion passenger broke a leg. The driver of the car was treated at the scene for shock.
