Motorcyclist hurt in rush-hour collision
A MOTORCYCLIST was injured in a smash in last night's rush-hour traffic.
Police said the man's bike was in collision with a Ford Focus car, in Derby Road, Spondon.

The incident happened at 5.55pm.
A spokesman for Derbyshire police said officers had to direct traffic, while paramedics were called to check over the motorcyclist.

It was thought he suffered a broken leg and was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital.
But the spokesman said his injuries were not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.
