Names in frame were Derek and David, my pals
ON a Christmas visit to the city, former Derbeian Howard Rose spotted some familiar faces in Bygones.
The photograph showed members of the Bemrose School under-14 football team just before a schools final at Sinfin Lane, Derby, in April 1954.

The two unknown players have been named as, back, left, Derek Scorer and back, right, David Blockley.
It had been sent in by Clive Harris, of Weston-on-Trent, who was able to provide names for all the team bar two.
Now Mr Rose, of Reading, has written to fill in the names of the missing players. He said: "They are well known to me as year mates at Bemrose at the time.
