“Has anyone seen the long range forecast? Let's hope it's not a bit chilly with a sprinkling of snow.”

“Sad indictment of the country today. Plenty of whining and crying instead of just getting on with it and accepting that it can't all go your way.
Dry your eyes boys...”

“Now you're just being silly - There's no point watching eastenders now fat pat has snuffed it, with her massive earrings jangling like sleighbells reminding us all of christmas.”

“The Rams might have had a free weekend IF Southampton had gone through to the next round of the FA cup but Forest are scheduled to play Coventry that weekend. I believe Coventry are out of the FA cup and therefore this game will, presumably, go ahead - snow flakes permitting! So that date was never going to be an option. I do agree that Saturday 4th February at 3pm would have been the best option - as it hadn't even started snowing then the game would have gone ahead. But this is all with the benefit of hindsight! Don't suppose for one minute the Beeb will show the match now - might interfere with Eastenders (God forbid!!!!!!). Do agree that it's very poor that both of our local derby matches are now midweek but am sure all of us that can get there will do so to roar on the Mighty Rams!!!”

“Bob I have read every comment thank you and the reason it is now midweek is cause it was called off Sunday! People can't get midweek and a lot of people like Ramfan had made special arrangements and effort and spent good money which is scarce at the minute. People are upset (not whining) they care about their club travel long distances spend far more money than many, make a lot of effort and then feel that the club have let them down. The world is a big place now and traveling is a fact of life and people do it every game! But to call off the biggest game of the season on top of the Leicester debacle is insensitive to say the least. The Football league had so many complaints about the Leicester game switch that they had to prepare a special briefing for the chairman! People care they don't think the club reciprocate.”

“"Dodger36, you suggest a date that would have pleased all then?" - How about, Saturday 4th February 2012 - 3pm?”

“Oh and "Pity Southampton lost to Millwall last night. FA Cup round 5 day would have been good." - IT was never going to be on this date. even if soton had won.
the rescheduled fixture date was announced even before this game had taken place, and the new date of 13th of March was actually decided upon on Sunday night.”

“Personally, I'm compaining for both reasons.
1) the match should not have been called off for such ludicrous reasons at such short notice, it was a little bit snowy, so what, take extra care. it should have been my decision if I wanted to travel or not, if I didn't want to, I could have put BBC1 on. The snow wasn't even that bad, it was worse last year and games were still on! It's even more ludicrous when you consider the distance people had to travel (away fans from nottingham) but villa vs newcastle and Chelsea vs Man utd were still on.
2) I knew that if it was rescheduled that it'd be a midweek game and therefore I would be unable to attend because I don't live in Derby or even in the midlands. I doubt very much if I'll get to see it, as I doubt it will be on TV. My whole reason for getting a six game plan, rather than just going to the odd game that I am able to travel to attend, was to secure a forest ticket. now I can't even attend due to it being a midweek fixture and I won't see it at all. So, I'm pretty miffed about this.”

“Bob 1 the point a lot of us are making is that the game on Sunday should not have been called off, if it had have been a frozen pitch or another reasonable reason we would have conceded. To see manure fans driving past me on Buxton Market Place and laughing is just too much.
THIS WAS A BAD DECISION by the club and yes it's not the club's fault where we live but they cannot now expect me to keep being loyal. After nearly 50 years it may be time to call it a day!
The other issue is to be honest if it had been Brighton,Palace,Doncaster or Bristol City it wouldn't have mattered a jot but this game and the Foxes are different aren't they?”
