NIGEL Clough says Derby County could let one or two players go out before the window for emergency loans closes today.

Asked if he expected any movement before the deadline, Clough added: "Certainly not coming in, because we are OK with the injury situation at the moment, given that Jamie Ward is not far away from being fit.

"We have had one or two inquiries but nothing concrete at the moment, so we will see if anything develops.

"We could let one or two go out on loan until January, with it being only six weeks away."

A number of clubs have asked about midfielder Ben Davies, who should return to action next week following a knock.

"We've had one or two inquires but it has got to be right for Ben as well," said Clough.

Davies has made only three appearances as a substitute for the first team this season.
