The bag was black faux leather with sequins and diamantes on the front with a buckle and small charm on the handle.
It contained cash, a pair of glasses and cards.
In both incidents the only description of the offender is that he wore dark clothing, possibly a hooded top.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed either incident or has any information about the thefts on 101.

“Decoy bags.
I think there could be a market for them.
Exploding when opened, similar to what banks use when cash is stolen, with a permanent dye :D”
