OAP is injured in collision with bus

A PENSIONER was taken to hospital after colliding with a bus.

The 74-year-old was being treated in the Royal Derby Hospital last night after the incident, which happened at about 4.30pm in Mansfield Road, Derby.

A police spokeswoman said that the man had fallen back from the kerb and had collided with the single-decker bus.

The road was closed briefly while police and ambulance crews arrived at the scene and paramedics took the man to the hospital.
