BUSINESS owners will get the chance to quiz a Government minister today.

Mark Prisk, Minister of State for Business and Enterprise, will take part in a question and answer session at Mayfield House in Long Eaton from 1.30pm.

It has been organised by Erewash MP Jessica Lee and Broxtowe colleague Anna Soubry.

The visit follows a Parliamentary question by Miss Lee about the enterprise agency Erewash Partnership. She asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Mark Hoban, about the importance of such organisations.

Miss Lee also joined fellow MPs and Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson in supporting a Westminster Hall debate on the Government's role in encouraging people to become self-employed.

A spokesman for Miss Lee said: "In addition to her support for businesses and enterprise in Parliament, Miss Lee will now welcome Mr Prisk and local businesses will have their opportunity to put questions to him."
