Oven fire in pensioner's Stanton-by-Dale home
AN elderly woman was urged to get out of her house by the fire service after she called saying her oven was alight.
When the crews arrived at the house in Main Street, Stanton by Dale, at about 3pm, the fire was already out.

The firefighters carried out safety checks and fitted smoke alarms to the property.
