Owen sets Ockbrook on way to semi-final
OCKBROOK & Borrowash stayed on course for Derbyshire Premier League and Cup double as they recovered from a sticky start to beat Dunstall in Sunday's Cup quarter-final.
Ockbrook were in some trouble with six wickets down for 50 runs batting first but Johnny Owen was still there and went on to hit 122, while Gareth Young came good with 66 to take their side up to 240-9 from 50 overs.

RESCUE ACT: Johnny Owen hit a century to put Ockbrook back into the driving seat in their Premier Cup quarter-final at home to Dunstall.
Dunstall fell well short in reply, bowled out for 158, with Lian Wharton taking 5-48.
Unusually, two of the Nottinghamshire sides in the competition have made it through to the semi-finals – and there will be a cross-county final this year, as they will play each other in the semis, while Ockbrook will meet Ilkeston Rutland.
Ilkeston pulled off something of a surprise by turning over Sandiacre Town in the quarter-final, after posting only 175, in which skipper Dave Smit top-scored with 46.
In reply, John Trueman made 43 but Jay Adendorff and Wayne White took three wickets each and Sandiacre were bundled out for 150.
Caythorpe saw off Spondon in a tight, low-scoring match.
There were 30s from Joe Ashdown, Joe Kellogg and Chris Windmill as Spondon were bowled out for 192 with seven balls of their 50 overs remaining.
Despite Ben Ashdown then taking 3-20, Leon Botha took the honours in Caythorpe's reply, leading his side to victory with 108.
They did not find it plain sailing but got to the target with seven wickets down and 3.4 overs to spare.
In the other quarter-final, Kimberley Institute recovered from 69-6 to pass Mansfield Hosiery Mills' 146 all out.
They were indebted to an unbroken stand of 83 between Dominic Terkowski and Alex Heslop, the latter ending the match in style with a six.
The semi-finals will be played on Sunday, August 24, with Ockbrook at home to Ilkeston and Caythorpe at home to Kimberley.
