PANEL OF EXPERTS OFFER ADVICE TO SURVIVE THE NEW AUTO ENROLMENT RULES
As a new staging date looms ahead, smaller companies will be required to encourage the culture of 'saving while earning' and will be getting involved in group pensions for the first time. A significant proportion of these companies will need considerable guidance in setting up their scheme or in making the choice to join the government sponsored pension scheme NEST.
To help businesses in making the right choice suitable for their business, employers and key decision makers in the East Midlands are welcome to attend the Auto enrolment seminar taking place In Derby on the 27th of March 2013. A panel of industry experts will be on hand to offer relevant, practical information on the Auto-enrolment legislation and how to plan for it.
Legislation will require all employers to automatically enrol their staff into a qualifying workplace scheme if they are not already in one.
After the event, all attendees will receive a free implementation plan and time-table (worth £150) which will enable businesses to successfully set up their scheme, deal with the associated costs and learn how to avoid potential penalties.
Tickets are still available at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/4274396836#
The host team consisting of Finance Director Chris Judson from the eFM Network, IFA Karen Sheldon and HR expert, John Jenkison will put a spotlight on the important issues surrounding Auto enrolment and will be available to answer any burning questions regarding the scheme, its effect on cashflow and how to make it self-financing; as well as find out what the HR implications are.
The seminar, aptly titled 'Auto Enrolment: Satisfy Your Curiosity- Don't Bury Your Head In The Sand' will aim to address some of the confusion surrounding this legislation and will be highly valuable to expanding companies.
Chris Judson , Finance Director from the eFM network, said : " Our aim is to help businesses better understand the challenges that the auto enrolment legislation could present to employers and offer ways to deal with the issues'' . This is one of our campaigns to support SMEs as this sector could do with some practical support in the midst of increasing legislation, unobtainable credit, rising operating costs and resource limitations within their business.''
