PC Allcock has also spent 10 years working in neighbourhood policing.
She said: "I'm really enjoying working in the Heanor area, as it feels like I have come back to my policing roots.
"Since starting I have been busy getting to know the local community, working with my colleagues to target and prevent burglaries in the area. I'm also looking forward to working with the team to set up some football activities for local youngsters."
Outside of work, Sarah, who is a mum to a nine-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son, enjoys running and is a member of a local running club, taking part in 10k races.
