Pair charged with shoplifting in Ilkeston
TWO people have been charged with shoplifting in Ilkeston.
Officers have increased patrols in the town to combat shoplifting, which traditionally increases during the Christmas period.

An officer was in Boots, in Bath Street, on Wednesday afternoon, when he saw a man who he believed was taking toiletries.
Luke Meads, 31, from Ilkeston, was arrested and later charged with theft.

He appeared before magistrates in Derby yesterday where he was remanded in custody.
He is due to appear again on December 13.
The same afternoon, officers detained a woman near to the same shop after staff said they suspected that she may have taken products from display.
Amy Terry, 20, who is also from Ilkeston, was later charged with theft and drugs possession.
She appeared before magistrates in Derby yesterday where she pleaded guilty to both charges.
Terry was handed a six month drug rehabilitation requirement.
