Parents of Belper tot Riley Pettipierre, who died after drinking his mum’s methadone, jailed
A COUPLE have been jailed for the manslaughter of their two-year-old son, Riley Pettipierre, who drank his mother’s methadone from a child’s beaker.
Drug-addict mother Sally Dent, 33, was jailed for seven-and-a-half years and father Shaun Binfield, 45, was sent to prison for four years, at Nottingham Crown Court today.
The couple found Riley lifeless in their home in Kilbourne Road, Belper, on March 13, last year.
They were both convicted of manslaughter last month.
