Parker Street tidy-up by Futures Greenscape
Little Luke Johnson has been getting his hands dirty to make his local shopping area more attractive. The three-year-old joined other keen children to plant flowers during the event hosted by Derby Homes and grounds maintenance firm Futures Greenscape, at Parker Street, Derby. Luke is pictured with Wayne Davies of Futures Greenscape, whose team arrived early to help make sure the newly paved shopping area was clean and tidy. The flower-planting session aimed to give the area some welcome colour while offering budding young gardeners a chance to leave their mark on the area, which acts as a focal point for the local community.
