Patience the key for Derbyshire CCC on second day in Barbados
DERBYSHIRE'S bowlers had to stay patient in the morning session of the second day in the opening match of their pre-season tour to Barbados.
Northants were 108-2 at lunch after 33 overs and though the edge of the bat was beaten regularly in the first hour, the catches would not come.

Northants batsman Matt Spriegel is beaten by Mark Turner on the second day of Derbyshire's match at North Stars.
Matt Spriegel was beaten more than most and also just avoided playing on from an inside edge to Tony Palladino but he made it through to the interval with 39 not out.
Mark Turner struck first in the 18th over as Northants skipper Stephen Peters was beaten by pace and low bounce to be lbw for 31 at 55-1.
