Paul Green straight back into Derby County squad for home clash
NIGEL Clough says midfielder Paul Green will be in Derby County's squad for Sunday's clash against Nottingham Forest.
A number of Championship clubs expressed an interest in Green during the January transfer window but no deal materialised.

The Republic of Ireland international is out of contract in the summer and his future at the club remains uncertain.
Green was not in the squad at Barnsley on Tuesday in case a late deal happened before the window closed.
"If something had come up after we had played at Barnsley we would have had only an hour and that would not have been long enough to get things done or even react from our point of view," said the Rams manager.
"We're happy to have Paul with us for the rest of the season and he will come into contention again this weekend."
Green had made a dozen consecutive starts before he missed the defeat at Barnsley.
The 28-year-old played for an hour for the Reserves in their draw against Stoke City Reserves yesterday.

“As soon as he came back into the team in his best position, we hit a winning streak. He misses one game we lose. Subjective I know, but welcome back. If we are ambitious we need to offer him a deal, not just let him go to another championship club (as there seemed only to be interest at that level).”

“This is good news, Greeny needs to crack on now. Seems an honest lad to me, he has the motivation of getting a place in Ireland team and securing a new contract, if not with Derby then elsewhere. A motivated and energetic Green is a definate asset to this team.”

“Genuinely good news IMO that Green is staying until the end of the season and that he is very much a part of NC's plans for this period. I don't regard him as "the future" of Derby County but he does a job and his return to midfield has certainly made a discernible difference to our performances - as demonstrated by his absence on Tuesday evening! Hopefully he will see the benefits of staying at Derby - a starting place in a team that has a good chance of a decent run-in, helping to cement his place in the RoI squad for the Euros; all of which puts him in the shop window and increases his chance of a more lucrative deal should he and DCFC part company in the summer. A good result all round then!
